The office of Lloyd Taft Architect was founded
in 1983 and has been providing quality design and construction supervision for the past 24 years.

The office, originally located in the Soho District
of New York City, was relocated to Katonah,
New York in 1992. Earlier work concentrated on the
design and construction of residential loft conver-
sions and office spaces. Since the relocation we
have specialized in custom home design and major renovations. In 2005 the firm moved to Ridgefield,
Ct. where it is currently situated. In addition to
residential projects the firm is currently working on restaurant and hotel development projects.

Our commitment to good design spans many styles
and construction types. The firm has built projects
ranging from traditional Adirondack log construction
to modern architecture. We believe that good plan-
ning, attention to light and volume, and quality
detailing are the underpinnings of any well-executed project. Each building is specifically tailored to the
likes and requirements of the client, who must be
satisfied for the project to be truly successful.
